Fast Brake System 2 has been specifically designed for high-level competitions, thanks to its elasticity and excellent shock absorption. Furthermore, the modular design ensures maximum versatility for organizing events, shows, or high-level sports competitions. This innovative detachable flooring is composed of a series of plates that, once assembled, form the sports surface.

Each plate measures 1200×600 mm with a weight of 14 kg, while the perimeter half plates measure 600×600 mm. The plates consist of an upper layer of noble beech wood, 4 mm thick, painted on a 24 mm phenolic plywood, in which a male-female type interlock is created, allowing the perfect surface alignment of the flooring. The entire system is supported by elastic feet 20 mm high with a hardness of 30 Shore.

These supports ensure a surprising biomechanical behavior and excellent sports results for the system. On the underside of the plates, there is a mechanized housing and guiding system consisting of three polyamide pins that ensure complete stability to the assembly, leaving the components securely connected to each other. The Fast Brake System 2 has been tested in collaboration with the Biomechanics Institute of Valencia, far exceeding the stability requirements of European standards related to force reduction, vertical deformation, ball bounce, and slip resistance.

Mondo Fast Break System 2 floors are available in two variants: a basketball court covering an area of 622 sqm and a handball and futsal court with an extension of 1012 sqm. Since no elastic sub-base or additional fixing components are required, the assembly of the Fast Break System 2 system only requires the use of a mounting and dismounting cart along with a manual tool for unlocking the plates. Depending on the customer’s needs, in addition to beech wood finishing, the product is also available in three other finishing types: special laminate for futsal, Mondo Flex rubber, and Mondo Sport PVC for versatile sports centers.
