Dubai Sports World 2025 – Dubai World Trade Centre
From 3 August to 2 September 2025, Dubai Sports World celebrated its 15th edition, confirming its role as the largest indoor sporting destination in the region, with over 25,000 m² and more than 40 courts and playing areas dedicated to multiple disciplines.

At the Diadora headquarters, we have built a straight section with three lanes of an athletics track, specifically designed for testing prototypes of new running shoes.
This facility allows us to evaluate product performance under controlled conditions, analyzing comfort, responsiveness, and overall behavior during running. A dedicated research and development environment that reinforces Diadora’s commitment to innovation and the continuous advancement of running technologies.

RENOVATION OF THE ATHLETICS TRACK AT THE DUBAI CLUB FOR PEOPLE OF DETERMINATION, DUBAI

Retopping an Athletics Track with World Athletics Certification involves renewing the track’s surface to meet international standards for hosting competitions.

Key Steps:

  1. Planning & Design: Select certified materials (e.g., polyurethane, rubber) and assess the foundation.
  2. Track Assessment: Inspect the existing track for damage and repair the foundation as needed.
  3. Material Application: Apply a new layer of synthetic material (13-15 mm thick).
  4. Quality Testing: Test for friction, surface uniformity, and durability.
  5. Expert Inspection: A World Athletics expert inspects to ensure compliance with technical standards.
  6. Certification: If the track meets all requirements, World Athletics grants certification (Class 1 for international events, Class 2 for national events).
  7. Ongoing Maintenance: Regular maintenance to retain certification.

The process ensures the track is safe, durable, and ready for high-level competitions.

The newly installed Mondo athletic tracks will welcome visiting teams at official training centers, allowing local sports communities to follow in the footsteps of great international athletes. Fast Break System Futsal is a wood flooring system with an elastic area. The patented detachable plates can be modularly combined with an elastic mattress underlay. The system finish is lacquered and painted in a solid color. Designed in collaboration with UEFA, Fast Break System Futsal has been the official surface for top-level futsal competitions since 2019. Designed in collaboration with UEFA in 2018, the Fast Break System Futsal is ideal for high-level competitions. The panel dimensions allow for the creation of regulation two-color courts for top-level competitions, offering a range of color combinations.

We had the honor of actively participating in this event, providing technical assistance and overseeing the installation of the playing field. Our main goal was to ensure that the playing surface met international standards, offering players the best possible conditions to showcase their talent in a professional setting.
